Getting Here
Getting to Diamond Eco Island Resort is easier than you may think. Although remote, it is still easier to get to than many other islands, such as the Mentawi. You can take a ferry or flight to the nearby town and then take a boat to the island. Our team is happy to help you arrange transportation to and from the island. We want to make sure you enjoy your adventure from start to finish!

(from Medan)
1. Arrival and Pre-Trip Accommodation

Hotel Stay: Enjoy a comfortable night at an airport hotel in Medan upon your arrival.

Amenities: Relax with access to a comfortable bed and shower.

Luggage Handling: Your luggage will be picked up from the airport and transported overnight directly to the next stop.

2. Flight to Singkil

Departure: Board an early morning flight from Medan to Singkil at 7:15 AM.

Breakfast: A morning meal will be provided at the hotel before departure.

Arrival in Singkil: Land at Singkil airport around 8:10 AM.

3. Speedboat to Diamond Island

Pick-Up: You will be taken from Singkil airport to our speedboat.

Journey: A 2-3 hour ride, with your surfboards and luggage pre-loaded and ready.

Arrival: Reach Diamond Island approximately 11am

4. Return Trip

Departure from Island: Leave Diamond Island in the late afternoon (5pm)

Overnight in Singkil: Spend a night in Singkil after departure from the island.

Flight to Medan: Take an early morning flight from Singkil at 8:10 AM, ensuring you arrive in Medan by 9:15 AM for your connecting flights. (flights are Wednesdays and Saturdays only)

Luggage and Surfboards: Your items will be waiting for you upon arrival at Medan airport.​

Availability: This transport schedule is available only on Thursdays and Saturdays.

1. Pickup and Journey to Singkil
